Welcome to GCAA Baseball

Welcome to GCAA Baseball. We, the baseball committee, are excited about the upcoming spring season. Our mission is that every kid has fun, becomes a better baseball player, and in turn, continues to play baseball with GCAA!

We offer youth recreational baseball for youth between the ages of 4 to 12 years old in the fall and 4 to 15 years old in the spring as well as Select and Travel baseball for our more advanced players.

January 1st - Registration for Spring Opens

January 12th- 30 th Winter Workout Camp Registration

February 1st- Head Coach Discount ends

February 11-12th Winter Workout Camp

February 18th - Registration ends

February 25th - Assessment/Draft day/Teams formed( mandatory for Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors

February 26th- March 24th- practice two days a week begins

March 25th - Opening Day

End of season tournaments TBD ( usually end of May - first week of June

GCAA Baseball offers a Winter Workout Camp prior to the Spring Rec Baseball Season. Spaces are limited and ages range from TBall to Majors divisions.

This is a two day camp provided by our GCAA Coaches. TBall is from 1-3 pm both days and Coach Pitch, Minors, and Majors is from 1-5 pm both days. Baseball fundamental skills on throwing, hitting, fielding will be taught as well as situation baseball plays.

This league is in conjunction with the South Johnston Baseball Association. The season starts later than GCAA Rec Baseball Spring season and will be played at surrounding South Johnston teams with GCAA being our home field. More details to come.
